The Company
Greenwoods Stock Boxes, part of Macfarlane Group PLC, the UK’s largest packaging distributor are urgently seeking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative (with a valid counterbalance forklift license) to join our established logistics team based at our site in Nottingham. The Warehouse Operative (with counterbalance FLT license) Role
Working at our Abbeyfield Road site in Nottingham, you shall play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Undertaking a range of warehouse related duties encompassing both goods ‘in’ and ‘out’ to include driving counterbalance forklift on regular basis. Please note this role operates on a rotating shift pattern as follows: 06:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:00 (you must be prepared to work this pattern).

Driving counterbalance forklift *MUST have valid license to apply
Order Picking
Forklift (counterbalance) operation
Daily Forklift Inspections
Loading and unloading vehicles
Stock taking
Allocating stock locations
Yard upkeep
Do you have the correct profile?
It is crucial that you have a valid/up to date counterbalance forklift license to apply for this role. It’s also important that you live locally (or within a sensible daily commute to our site). You will be a true team-player with a flexible and positive work attitude and strong communication skills. It’s important that you are ‘health & safety aware’ whilst having enjoyed balanced exposure to goods ‘in’ and ‘out’. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative, however at the same time be able to follow instructions. You will be prompt and an excellent timekeeper.
The Package
In return we offer a competitive basic starting salary as well as overtime availability which when required, is payable at x 1.5 basic pay rate. This job role also offers benefits including 23 days annual leave (plus all bank holidays) and a contributory pension.
