You will lead from the front with your commercial expertise, using your man-management skills to support, mentor and develop both teams. On the procurement side, you will strive to uphold our company wide National procurement strategy, being hands-on in supplier management, developing the regional supplier base and leading on key projects. • Develop existing accounts, seeking and taking opportunities to up sell across the product portfolio
  • Able to deputise in the absence of the Regional Business Manager

Do you have the correct profile?
We are looking for a special individual who can genuinely bring experience in almost equal measure across procurement, management and internal sales/service to occupy this role. You will be able to demonstrate that you have adequate experience in all aspects. We’re not fussed if you are more naturally a sales/service or procurement professional ‘by trade’ and understand that you may have developed skills in the secondary area as part of a role expansion over time. The main thing is that you are credible in both areas, this as you will be leading from the front with both teams.
Ours is a fast-moving customer centric distribution business, so a background working within a similar environment would be advantageous. As mentioned this is a part-time job-share role requiring commitment to working 16.5 hours per week. It is important that you are keen to occupy a management role on a part-time basis and that either Nottingham or Grantham is a viable place of work for you.

The Package
We provide a competitive basic starting salary along with a performance/profit linked bonus scheme and a flexible employee benefits scheme that includes: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata), additional holiday purchasing scheme, contributory pension & employee discount scheme.
