Internal Sales Coordinator (New Business) Role
We see this role as a key part of what we do, providing the crucial ‘bridge’ between our customers and our internal purchasing, logistics and external field sales teams. The internal sales coordinator role is fast-paced, multi-faceted role will see you undertaking proactive outbound calling (following up leads, targeting lapsed clients etc.), handling inbound customer enquiries and processing sales orders. You will also work closely with our external sales executives in helping to develop customer spend and identify new opportunities. This position is wholly office based and focused upon customer engagement. You will be focused on understanding customer needs, to ensure opportunities are realized and first-class service is always provided. On this occasion we are seeking to hire someone on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.
 
Internal Sales Coordinator (New Business) Key Duties
  • Effectively executive proactive calling campaigns to qualify prospects and build a pipeline of potential new customers
  • Carefully identify, select & and target any lapsed or down-spending customers to regain or rebuild relationships and spending streams
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, effectively maintaining profitability
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries and providing advice & solutions
  • Working closely with and supporting the external sales team
  • Closely liaising with internal departments such as logistics and procurement
  • Leading on account development activity to achieve up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Orchestrating and participating in a range of promotional campaigns & sales days/events
  • Maintaining high standards of administration & CRM system updates at all times
  • Working effectively to achieve set sales activity & commercial targets
  • Develop a sound working knowledge over time of our extensive product range and customer solutions
Do you have the correct profile? 
We know that this role will ideally suit an experienced internal salesperson who can demonstrate a good track-record of success in a similarly fast paced and proactive ‘new business’ sales position. That said, charisma, great communication skills and interpersonal skill are essential to build and actively win business. So, if you fancy a fast paced & varied role and you’re not afraid to make outbound calls we would love to hear from you. You will need to learn our internal systems (CRM etc.) but that goes for anyone and we will provide full training. It is however vitally important that you have a first-class telephone manner (friendly and professional). It also helps if you are commercially aware and target driven.
