You will join a successful team based at our  Wakefield site and enjoy a varied territory sales role covering parts of South & West Yorkshire. The Key Account Manager role 
Due to our continued growth we now seeking to appoint an experienced Key Account Manager to take charge of a multimillion sales, blue-chip client portfolio. The customer base is over 100 strong and includes several high-profile, well known brands within the wider industrial & e-commerce sectors. You will be working out of our Wakefield site but travel regularly across the wider South/West Yorkshire region to conduct customer meetings. You will act as the main contact for your assigned customers responsible for successfully delivering solutions to meet their needs. Your success shall also be measured against account growth and gross profit targets which will require you to proactively identify & capitalise on all opportunities to increase sales/profitability by utilising a solution led sales approach.
 
Key Account Manager Key Duties
  • Manage assigned Accounts to ensure that the Regional Sales and Profit Targets are achieved and exceeded
  • Be the main point of contact for Key Accounts, with emphasis on the building of relationships throughout the organization
  • Play a pivotal role in the management and ongoing development of National Accounts where appropriate
  • Work in a constructive manner with your key internal colleagues across internal sales, logistics & procurement
  • Develop, analyse, and present relevant data including key deliverables
Do you have the correct profile?
We welcome your application if you have at least 2 year’s demonstrable experience operating at a key account or national account level. You will ideally have enjoyed exposure to managing & developing a similar size customer portfolio (£4M+ combined annual turnover). Some experience of selling to users within the wider ‘industrial’ or ‘e-commerce’ sectors would be preferable. You will be accustomed to using a solution sales approach whereby customer needs are central to the whole process. Presentable, polished, intelligent, and articulate, you will be commercially aware, goal orientated and self-driven. Applicants will ideally reside central to the proposed territory (so ideally within a 30-mile radius of our Wakefield and hold a valid UK driving licence. A background in packaging whilst extremely advantageous is not essential, as full product training shall be provided.
