We are seeking an experienced Assembly Operator with a strong background in repetitive manual production work to join our established manufacturing team.
Assembly Operator Role
This is not a general warehouse role. It is a focused, production-based assembly position where the primary responsibility is the use of industrial glue guns to assemble cardboard packaging products to precise specifications.
The majority of your shift will involve repetitive glue assembly work, requiring accuracy, consistency and the ability to maintain pace while meeting daily output targets.

Key responsibilities
- High-volume manual box assembly using industrial glue guns
- Fitting internal dividers accurately to specification
- Working to daily productivity targets and quality measures
- Conducting in-process quality checks
- Following documented work instructions and SOPs
- Maintaining strict housekeeping and health & safety standards
- Supporting packing and pallet preparation when required
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production assembly environment
- Proven experience carrying out repetitive manual assembly work as a core daily task
- Demonstrable experience using hand tools or production equipment (glue guns, stapling tools, taping machines or similar)
- Experience working to measurable output targets
- Experience following written SOPs or structured work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality
- Clear understanding of workplace health & safety
- Reliable attendance and strong timekeeping record
- Able to commute daily to Glenrothes, Fife
Desirable
- Experience within packaging, print or light manufacturing
- Experience within a quality-controlled or regulated production environment
